(rumors) Charlotte Bobcats - Clevland Cavs

Houston has 14, 16, and 18 now and are rumored to be looking to trade up to a high pick, to package with some of their players to make a play for Dwight Howard. Would you guys entertain the possiblity of moving the 4th pick we would get from Cleveland for 14/16/18, or would you rather stand pat, and get one of the upper echelon guys in the draft, and pick our project with the second first rounder from Cleveland?

Just to summarize, that would turn our #2 overall pick, into 14, 16, 18, 24 and 33(if you believe we will get that from the cavs too).

Ive also read somewhere, I cant remember, that the Wizards could offer us their second rounder to move up from 3 to 2, to make sure they get beal. We wouldnt lose someone we are seriously going after and pick up and extra second rounder.

Wow....14, 16, 18, 24, 31, and 34 picks if we made two moves.

Personally, I would not want that many rookies.

I agree it would be too many, but if we packaged 18, 24 and 34, to get up to around 10, that would leave us with 10, 14, 16, 31. Or we could move some of those picks for some young talent.

people keep saying weak draft, while it does lack superstar talent, this draft is loaded with high quality players. more than most years.

and while i would love to add that many rookies to the team, it loses the chance to take a top tier guy so i wouldnt move back past 5.

Not good enough to turn the Bobcats into a top 8 team.

I feel like people are forgetting that we still have free agency and the Bobcats are $14 million dollars under the cap at the moment.

who do you want to sign? gordon and hibbert are nto coming here, we will sign tier 2 guys, draft a solid player and (assuming cavs trade) 2 other high potential players. build through draft, not expecting to be a top 8 team for another 2 years, then after that hopefully we can contend. after next yr gana maggs and carrol come off the books, then lets make our splash in FA with our 3 picks this yr and our 1st next yr. (already traded our 2nd for mullens)

This is not franchise mode on 2k12.

This is requiring the Bobcats to make 3 different trades to move out of the top ten, and that is flat out not going to happen.

The Bobcats will trade with the Cavs for #4, #24, and #33

Cat's end up with pick #4, #24, #31, and #33

thats what im hoping for. its not NFL either having 4 rooks on the roster is already 33% of the roster. then add kemba and biz thats 6 young guys, 50% of the roster. we do need some experience on the roster. 6 rooks just wont work

That's all that free agency is this year, just second tier guys.

However, there are still some solid players out there like Carl Landry, Ryan Anderson, Nick Batum, Jeff Green, Michael Beasley, J.R. Smith, Courtney Lee, Nick Young, O.J. Mayo, Ramon Sessions, Nate Robinson, Aaron Brooks, Raymond Felton, and Lou Williams.

Then out of our league: Deron Williams, Eric Gordon, and Roy Hibbert
