Predicting the Statistics for the 2012-13 Season

i wouldnt be surprised to see cam throw for over 4k again this yr, but i would be surprised if we had 2 1k wr's. I think Tolbert will have a bigger impact than the OP suggests in the passing game. There are a lot of options, and when you look at this, you can see why Plax hasn't been brought in. Other than Smitty or Cam, no one is "great" but there are a lot of very good players here on offense.

i think this offense is going to be breaking records for several years.

i can actually see us breaking team rushing records this coming year for yardage and TDs (which would be hilarious in a time where they run game is supposed to have taken a huge back seat to the passing game) because of all the run power we have and a passing game to take the heat off of it.

i can also, in very short time, see this passing game becoming the most prolific one in history, largely because of the running game we have, the scheme/coaching, and of course, because of the QB.

i see multiple SBs coming our way as well.

i see this team becoming a dynasty...and don't throw that jinx word around. there's no such thing (just don't vote any panthers to be on the cover of madden to be on the safe side).

signed,

a proud and admitted homer for a team that is quite capable of reaching those hopes/expectations.

Anyone who has time to spend hours making up stats for every player in a largely meaningless effort where no money is at stake, needs a job, hobby or therapy for OCD.

Just sayin............................

Yeah, that's probably true. Usually I wouldn't, but i just had knee surgery so i'm layed up for a while.

I think Cam's range for rushing tds is 5-8. 3 seems a bit low to me. Likewise, I think Tolbert is not here just for goal line duties. He will be involved in the passing game too. I think you have his rushing tds a bit high. I'd say more like 3 or 4. Also, you have us at 10+ INTS...i don't think that's realistic. I don't think we will have as many sacks as you predict.

In all, the defensive numbers seem a bit inflated. I'd say the offensive numbers are reasonable in most cases.

Hopefully, this offense won't have to score 30 points a game in order to win.

Looks very much like you think Cam will stay in the pocket more this season (that may be another result of Tolbert in there picking up blitzes...). That would be a sign of an efficient offense, but what I really want to see are the great escapes that go for like 40-50 yards ( like that one run vs Redskins).

As long as we win...I don't care if its a 9-6 field goal fest. But that's not how our games are going to go!

I had Cam's rushing TD lower because he won't be as involved in goal-line situations, where he got most of his rushing TD's last year. Tolbert will instead handle those situations, therefor racking up on TD's. I don't have us at many more sacks than last year and we added frank alexander, beason, and I think Hardy will have a breakout year. Thanks for your opinion.
