ohhh weeee mayne... Gonna have to DVR it, I'll be watching any and everything involving the preamble before The Heat win their 2nd NBA Championship!

Who knows... My Tarheels came up short, but the Heat and Panthers may come through for me this year!

So how long have you been a Heat fan? Since they won the title in 2006, since they acquired LeBron, since last week?

Steve Smith says AFC WEST is a weak division, and Chargers are middle of the pack in their DIV, Jamie Dukes replys back that the whole AFC is weak, only 4 good teams, PATS, Ravens, PITT, and now the TEXANS....

i agree with this. balance of power really has shifted to the NFC.

i said elsewhere i believe we'll go 3-1 against the AFCW but i have a feeling we could end up sweeping them. i just expect a "WTF just happened?!?!?!" type game against one of them.

Since I was 5 and my Dad took me to the inauguration Home game. That was in 88 btw.

Those were the Glen Rice, Ronnie Seikaly days (sp?)

Do YOU even know who those two players are??

My Dad also took me to the inaugural Marlins game and FL Panthers game (hockey)

Then we moved from Miami to Shelby, NC (40 min west of Charlotte)

He took me to the Inaugural Panthers game and I've been a fan of each team since that day.

I'm assuming that you were trying to paint me as a bandwagoner fan... I guess you can call me Tar Heels bandwagoner... I saw Michael Jordan do an interview where he talked about playing for the tar heels. Ever since that day I've been a Tar Heels fan (early 90's) I was maybe 7-9 during that time period.

There u have it

Good for you, and Glen Rice was a better in Charlotte than he was in Miami.

I think we wil struggle vs the Chargers, reason. Because Norv knows what RR wants to do on DEF and that is the best QB in the DIV right now, I have no faith that PM will make it to through the season. Only thing that I think gives us a slight edge is Chud, game planning vs a team he is real familiar with.

Smith talking about his charity and how he gives 500 shoes with socks, and he humbles himself by washing their feet.....

They asked him about sharing the name with the other Steve Smith, and he tells a story about someone asking him about his USC championship and he says that guy wishes he was me.
