What does Mare kicking FG have to so with our position in the draft? I get people are pissed at the guy but it's time to move on. Heck he's probably not going to be on the team soon. Medlock looks good so far.

If this dude costs us even one game this year, it will be looked at as 1 game too many, especially after what we saw this year. This is a sticky situation for our HC. Honestly Rivera brought this whole problem in himself though. If we would have just kept Kasay, then this wouldn't even be a topic. As it is though... Here we are. Here's to hoping that our High Powered offense and healthy Defense doesn't ever require a game winning kick!

Because it is stupid to spend that kind of money on a kicker given the type of offense we have.

Yeah, because obviously if you have a good offense, you don't need a good kicker. Not like we were ever in a situation where we needed one to come through for us.

Oh wait.

You either draft one or you sign one. And a good kicker is going to cost. Mare sucks, yes, but I don't see any issue with spending money for a clutch kicker. Not like it has hurt us. We still have plenty of cash in the bank.
