Face of the franchise?

The only other NFL team that I know of that has a receiver as its "face" is Cincy. I really don't like that idea. Especially when our guy, love him as I do, has a somewhat checkered past with his temper and ability to lead in the locker room and on the field.

bills (TO?)

browns

broncos

lions

texans (schaub? maybe)

chiefs (LJ? yuck)

jets

49ers (gore?)

rams (has to be steven jackson)

bucs

raiders (crypt keeper al?)

for a lot of these teams you could say one of the rookies they got but can an untested rookie forge an identity?

i was thinking about some of the other teams whose faces could be a QB...

falcons? either ryan (after one year?) or vick (whose jerseys do you see the most of?)

cowboys...romo is seen as more of a joke than jake. much more high profile and can't even get to the playoffs. jake has had some real stinkers but everyone remembers romo's big chokes.

bears...cutler? never played a down but many look at him as a talented spoiled brat. i don't really know who you would say. urlacher in the past but now?

packers...most probably still think of favre. rodgers doesn't exactly create much in the way of excitement (as far as personality goes).

giants...eli.

colts...peyton

pats...brady

steelers...big ben

eagles...mcnabb

chargers...you could say rivers but LT2 and merriman would be just as correct

saints... it could be bush just as easily as brees

seahawks...since alexander fell apart i guess it goes to hasslebeck. housh may change that a bit. no more shadow.

there are a good few teams who's face wouldn't be the QB.

ravens...can there be anyone other than ray ray?

jaguars...MJD, though even that would probably be a stretch

dolphins...joey porter?

vikings...ADP

redskins...portis

titans...after last year skinny kid and fat man. could be VY but i don't know how positive that is at the moment.

face of the franchise...it's pretty much a crap shoot. a lot of teams don't really even have much of an identity. i feel ok with it being smith if it is. if it's jake based on the last performance, i have a huge problem with that and he HAS to fix that this year.
