they aren't?

people look at the panthers as the little engine that couldn't.

they have had high hopes placed on them before and disappointed. now few are going to fall for it again. that image of jake, for better or worse, is what people are going to be thinking of when they look at the success that the panthers have next year. the more games they win and the better they look, the more they are going to remember that game and that face.

panthers and jake have to prove them wrong. it's going to be an uphill battle that i think they can handle but i'm not going to be expecting too many people to give them much in the way of respect.
