With all sports teams, there are an abundance of "homers" toward their team. What is the dumbest thing you have heard or personally said/done that would classify as a Panthers homer.

Here is mine:

I had a pretty good Michael Jordan card collection at one time. Somewhere in the neighborhood of about 75-100 cards. There was a card dealer in my town that would buy/trade using 1/2 price of the Beckett value. Well being the "homer" i am, I traded my whole collection for all the Kerry Collins items he had..Yeah, im not sure dumb classifies my actions, but homer certainly does.

You traded the cards of the best basketball player of all time for Kerry Collins. That dude probably didn't even think twice. He probably even gave u extra stuff so he wouldn't feel so bad!

There was this CRAZY motherfugger on my internet forum one time, don't know if it was a male or female, but this fool spent his every waking moment trying to convince people he played Cam Newton in Madden.

Here's my homer moment of my life.

This past year I was so confident that the Tar Heels would win the ACC Tourney, that I bought tickets for every game including the Championship game.... Spent a boatload if money...

Well, we lost to FL State in the Championship game...

I did this before as well... Only that was the year that we kept Ty Lawson out of the Tourney and went on to win it all.

Anyways after we lost this years ACC Tourney I just knew that we were going to go to the NCAA Championship game... Apparently so did a Duke fan... Only now we ALL know who Leehigh is!!! LOL

So I bought the Championship Game tickets from him as he was still salty... He charged me quite a bit for the tickets...Unluck for us Marshall went down to injury... Lucky for me that a desperate KY fan wanted the tickets way more than I did... I played it perfectly and made back all my money from both ACC Tourneys and the price I paid for The Championship game tickets.

My homerisms paid off luckily... Cause my wife was pissed. KY fan saved my marriage and my wallet! LOL

But still UNC couldn't get it done, so I feel like I still lost.

But still feel better than a cruddy Duke fan! Leehigh? Really??? Lmao

In 2003 I was so confident that the Panthers would beat the Eagles at home, I invited a friend of mine who is an Eagles fan. During the tailgate i got a little tipsy and bought an Andy Reid Sucks Mcnabb Swallows T-shirt. I then took off my car flag and proceeded to run threw the massive Eagles tailgate party on the other side of the parking lot. By the time i returned, a chorus of asshole chants were ringing through the lot behind me. Long story short the Eagles whipped us and i had to ride home with my Eagle friend laughing at me the whole way.

I've got a decent card collection and am just now getting back into them, but along the same lines I took my own MJ collection to school one day to show off/trade with friends. Being the little 8 year old I was, I left my entire collection at school and had them stolen. Probably nothing too nice lost, but around 75 cards.

Oh, and I also spent like $150 on a box of Pokemon cards once...

2006 fantasy football draft, took the Carolina defense in the 4th round. Yes, I really thought they were going to be THAT good.

By about week 5 I traded them from a struggling chad ochocinco who had his final super productive year. Came in 2nd in the league.
