Blogger Blitz: Josh Norman

Gamble isn't exactly exceptional at tackling or hitting. He contains pretty well. His man to man coverage skills are rediculous. We need another cover corner, whether they play every down or not, to deal with guys like julio jones, mike williams (gamble gets vjax), and anyone drew brees wants to throw to.

Exactly. I would feel more comfortable with Norman covering Mike Williams, Julio Jones and Devery Henderson/Lance Moore twice a year than Munnerlyn or Hogan, based simply on his height. I just hope he has the mental and technical skills to go along with his physical gifts.

Edit: Or mother-fuging Nick Toon if he somehow wins the #2 WR spot. I wouldn't want Captain on him.

We may have aced this draft class.

I was making a lot of jokes on draft weekend about picking up a 4-3 Will LB and drafting a guy out of D7 Boonfug State, but if Kuechly can start, Silatolu can start, Alexander can be rotational and play well, Norman can start, and Adams can (basically) start as a return man, this will be one of our better drafts ever.

Don't forget Brad Nortman! Everyone always forgets the punter....

Gamble has actually become a VERY good tackler. Early in his career he shied away from contact but the last 3-4 seasons he's been damn aggressive against the run and has laid the wood a few times.

Seeing as I cannot pie or like, I will have to tell you I am so glad someone noticed that Gamble had stepped up his game. He has actually become an intergal part of the D. Which is a total shock to me, as I always hated OSU guys.

Hey, anyone who is helping make my team better is all right by me. And GOOOOO CATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't think Norman has to even start. If Alexander and Norman get a solid number of snaps I would view this as an extremely succesful draft. Three starters (Kuechly, Silatolu, Olsen), two or maybe even three rotational guys (Alexander, Norman and Adams as a slot) Nd two special teams guys (Nortman, Adams). I know I double dipped on Adams but the versatility is a plus.

Easy,

Just look at his size, athletic ability, and ball skills.

He has already impressed the coaching staff and other players.

This guy will be starting, might not be on day one but you can book it.

Haha ain't nothin better than when this fool posts.

All hail the mighty Dash!
