There will be a movie coming out and whatever actor gets the part of the main guy character in the book will be the person your wive's are thinking about when they glare in disgust at your lazy ass sitting on the couch covered in Doritos while watching reruns of Family Guy.

Me, I plan on reading it or at least checking into what it is all about. Same reason I used to read my wife's Cosmo magazines....I may not ever understand women entirely (nor do I want to) but if I understand more of what they want than the next guy....then advantage me.

Smart men will embrace books like this, lonely men will fear it.

Maybe not to you, but it is to the vast majority of women. If it's not, then explain how it has exploded into what it is today and it's just getting started really? It's kind of like Twilight, Harry Potter, etc.....I may not see it as good cinematic entertainment but apparently it is to most people so it must appeal to the audience it is targeting or it wouldn't have had the sucess that it has.

Too long a list but here is a couple to start with since you asked:

1.) She tends to read during the day time on the weekend+ that means she will be horny during the day, which means that my day will be interrupted, e.g. not being able to get a round of golf in etc. etc. in other words the things I live to do during the weekend

2.) The Hags of three...if your wife has friends you cannot stand then you will understand this comment, if not well just wait a while and maybe you will one day

3.) The great book debacle of 2011 "Think like a man, act like a lady" , again if your wife didn't read this, you will not understand but I am still dealing with the aftermath of that

I could go on, but these type of things always end badly for me :(

My wife has a couple of questionable friends, and one that I really can't stand... just grates the hell out of my nerves, so I do somewhat understand that comment... as for her being horny during the day, that wouldn't be a problem here.

fanfic was started from really sad ppl that had nothing else to do but take the main characters of twilgiht and turn them into something else, new characters...make them do naughty stuff...and it's poorly written...

so..the author only wrote this in full b/c those sad ppl that liked the twilight stuff begged her to write an entire novel of her fanfic

I am sure it is not for everyone but for those sheltered women who have had no sense of adventure in their life and have been bored with their lives, I am sure this will appeal to them and turn them into the inner wh*re that they truely are. And when it happens, I want to be there lying in wait....like a Wh*re Shark. It's kind of like a Killer Whale that is wating in the ocean for unsuspecting seals to leap into the vast ocean for the first time.

here's my ultimate problem with this book...if you want to bring out your inner wh*re.fine..I'm allllll for it...read all the sexy time books you can get your hands on

but the fuging author is a female...and she makes the lead character a weak-minded female who enjoys getting beat, abused and manipulated over and over. A Crying bumbling idiot who can't say no or stand up for herself...I'm sorry but it's just not my cup of tea to read about a character like that.. sex or no sex...and it's embarrassing the number of women who drool over it and condone it

See I didn't realize that is what it is all about but it all makes sense now when I look at the people I know who seem to love the book. It resonates with them. Interesting.

Seems to me there are a ton of women out there that like that/wish it would happen more often to them.

My girl is not one of those at all, but some of her friend certainly are. You can almost see it depending on the jobs they have, and things they say.

There are tons of girls who have rape fantasies, and poo like that. It disgusts me, but some women, and men for that matter, like to be dominated.
