Otah At Minicamp, But Not In Uniform

I really hope something changes and he can stay healthy and/or tough or whatever the real issue is. I really don't want to see Bell out there again. Non of the potential right tackles give me a good feeling.

flu?

ingrown toenail?

sprained wrist?

IBS?

sunburn?

Knee?

Come on Person. A little more wouldn't hurt.

A new low in reporting has been realized here. The "shock jock tweeter" now plagues the already challenged news business.

Not that most posters here care. The conclusion jumpers are all to happy to only hear a part of a story and pontificate from there.

If Otah was to be cut this year what other team would pick him up? I don't think he would get any $ or many (if any) looks.

Cowboys. And then the talking heads would claim the cowboys just made a huge steal and now have the best oline in the forevers.

i don't see this as being a red flag necessarily.

if they want the guy to be solid through the season they might think it best that he rest until at least training camp.

if he knows the basics of the blocking scheme then TC might be all he needs.

i think it would be good for the OL to develop chemistry but at this point it isn't essential.

I could see us resting him through the regular season and saving him for the playoffs at this pace

Normally I'd agree with you. But since this story has happened several times in the past few years. I have my doubts about Otah. It's always the same story.

Otah is in great form.

Otah tweaks something.

Otah is getting rest for the season so he can start fresh and not miss a beat.

Otah didn't practice.

Otah starts.

Otah is in IR...

Rinse. Repeat. I don't see how this year it's going to be different.

it might not be, but i wouldn't use this report of him being on the sidelines to support anything.

    • First of all Sooners fan? Mods? Second if you think someone needs a specific reason to hate Texas you don’t watch real college football.
    • 100% even if rest of team is really talented if they march young out to be qb and he plays like he has for 90% of his starts the panthers have already lost doesnt even matter how good the rest of the team is or isnt and also makes it hard to even tell how good they are.  They need true competition for young this offseason.
    • It will be awesome to have an improved stadium to lose in I guess....   https://www.yahoo.com/news/panthers-file-rezoning-bank-america-111500840.html     The Carolina Panthers have taken another necessary step toward renovating their home of the present and future. Panthers Stadium, LLC, filed its rezoning site plan with the city of Charlotte on Monday, initiating an important — if mostly technical — step toward renovating Bank of America Stadium. The filings state that the rezoning relates “primarily to technical aspects associated with improvements to Bank of America Stadium,” and that the rezoning is required because “the current stadium zoning is out of date” for the team’s stadium renovation plans.   The planned stadium updates include new seats installed throughout the upper and lower bowls; stadium safety and security enhancements; a reimagined South Lawn Pavilion; upgraded restrooms; exterior enhancements (including LED video boards) and more. Planning for the stadium renovation project will continue through 2025, with construction starting in 2026 and the renovation’s conclusion in 2029, The Observer previously reported.
