My new puppy

you needed to put her in a smaller crate too

LoL

Sure fire way to determine who loves you more and a better friend. Lock your wfie/gf in a crate and your dog in another crate beside her. Leave for 5 hours. Come back and see who is happy to see you when you let them out.

Smaller crate is what worked for my boxer puppy. He was a pain to get in there at first though. Would cry and howl unless I rocked him to sleep on a rocking chair first before putting him in. Now he just goes in whenever he feels like it besides when I make him go in when we leave.

Careful with the bedding you use. For the first 8 months he didn't do a thing to his bed. I had to leave him in it for 9 hours one day though and he got pissed and ripped up his bedding and ate the stuffing inside of it. Now he deals with a plastic hard floor instead.

crate, feeding schduale, try yogurt to solidify or try another food if its runny it may not be the dogs fault but something upsetting the stomach.

either way remember these things always stop with age...some are late bloomers but even with a little effort it can easily be easier than potty training a child.

children would probably behave much better if parents were allowed to treat them like that. you'd probably be a better person if you'd been locked in a closet once or twice when you threw a hissy fit

or maybe you'd prefer an untrained, undisciplined animal roaming the neighborhood chewing the faces off of children?

or stick them in the backyard on a 20' chain for the rest of their miserable lives?

My dog likes his crate, he still runs to during thunderstorms. They view it as a safe haven.

Rubbing the puppies nose in the poo works sometimes, but until its trained to go outside it may keep doing it.

Some of y'all would make amazing parents.

Go stand in a closet with no food or water for 4 hours. Then pop yourself when you whine.

Meanwhile, I can go out of town for a weekend by leaving extra food and water for the cat.

Cats hate people. Dogs love people. The end.
