right because you were there. I wasn't even bragging. Just stating that it is def possible to put on muscle weight that quickly, as I have done it myself...and I dont have the means that a pro athlete does (ie state of the art gym equipment) (personal trainers) (nutritionists)(personal chefs) i could go on and on and on

It is near impossible to get over 2lbs/month of pure muscle naturally. And to do so you have to be a genetic freak. So for you to say you did 5 is impossible. Especially without supplements and just "the occasional" protein shake, and especially with doing the insane amount of cardio that you did during that time. You may have put on 25 lbs. as well as gotten stronger, but you didn't gain 25 lbs. of lean muscle. I'm not trying to call you out or say you are bragging or anything, but you are wrong.

Yes I see where I misread that, but I honestly hope you don't think that teams game plan around what weight a coach says a player is. I mean come on.....really? Seriously?

Are you going to argue that RR didn't intentionally lie? Seriously? Really?

RR personally likes Hardy... so please believe he knows the man went Beast Mode during the offseason. Why wouldn't he want that to be common knowledge??

Don't worry...I'll wait.........

I was in a 3rd world country bro... Have no idea if it was all indeed pure muscle... But I can tell you that i don't beleive I had an oz of fat on me. I can also assure you that I'm not a genetic freak. but when i do lift consistantly I get big and fast.

I'm not calling you out either, just sayin

also, there are muscles that you can only develop in a pool, and while yes i was doing a lot of cardio i was def working out hard. It's irrelevant really. shouldnt have even shared

I was referring to the idea that Rivera said that Hardy weighed more last year than he actually did so that other teams wouldn't run on him. If that is an effective use of misinformation than other NFL players, coaches, coordinators have to be some of the dumbest people on earth.

I don't come on here to get into pissing contests with people, and that was never my intent, that's why I said with all due respect rather than just blasting you out like a jerk. You said it is very possible to put on 25 lbs. of muscle in 4.5 months naturally, when in reality it is not, and is actually incredibly hard to do even with deca, which is one of the strongest steroids available. Again, you may have looked great and been in shape and had big strength gains, but it's not the same as building 25 lbs. of muscle. On that note, I'll stop and let this thread go bak to G Hardy who IS a genetic freak and is going beast mode.

You' d be suprised at the depths to which teams will go to gain some sort of competitive advantage. If I'm scouting the Panthers personnel and I read that one of the starting DE's is 276lbs it might encorage me to run the ball at him more often. If I see that he's 290 then it wouldn' t jump out to me as much.

Of course this is only speculation, but teams do lie about player size/ weight for various reasons.

Are you really this dense? If Hardy gets caught(assuming he's using enhancing drugs) then, he will only get punished and only himself. Saints*** were putting bets on ending players careers.

Yeah, you're right. A steroid scandal would be great for the team. Cheating is OK when you pull for the team and/or player that's doing it. For the record, I'm not saying Hardy is juicing, I was responding to "I think he is and I don't have a problem with it."

I went from 240lbs to 195lbs (3.5% bf), in about 6 months. It was the hardest think I've ever done in my life, by far.

Sorry for the derail!

That is incredible. But losing fat is a much easier thing than building muscle. But you should definitely be VERY proud of yourself for that.
