Beason very complimentary of Luke.

Beason doesn't care where he plays, as long as the best D is being fielded. Dude already hit his big contract, everyone in the world knows how good he is... theres no reason for him to rack up extravagant amounts of tackles. He's still going to be making all the calls and adjustments pre snap, he's going to play like he normally does and he's going to be the leader.

It is nice to see how supportive Beason is of Kuechly. They will make a great team. It is also nice to see that everything I said about Kuechly is being repeated by Beason who surely knows what he is talking about. I think our linebacking corps is going to be a strength again this year.

certainly you don't believe that he had that perspective prior to the draft

I like this from Jon. The LB corps will be the backbone of the D again and the DB's everyone around here feels are so terrible and the pass rush most feel is nonexistent will be all the better for it. Last season's effort at LB was admirable but poor by comparison. 4-3 relies on some bad sob's filling gaps and scraping edges.

Sounds like some bad sob's who are unified and who take an intelligent approach are ready to make a comeback.

    • Saints and Seahawks both making a push for Cooper Kupp The Rams receiver has at least two teams that are very interested in signing him. According to The Athletic, the Seahawks and Saints are both making a push to sign Kupp. The Seahawks could certainly use another receiver after trading DK Metcalf and cutting Tyler Lockett. As for the Saints, they don't have a ton of salary cap space, so it will be interesting to see if they can meet Kupp's asking price, which is apparently around $13 million or $14 million per year.
    • The intent behind the question wasn’t bad, it’s just how he framed the question was kinda goofy. I’m surprised people like him can do media professionally when they aren’t good public speakers. I wonder what he gets paid to do this.
    • Running back Kareem Hunt is returning to the Kansas City Chiefs on a one-year contract worth up to $2.5 million, a source told ESPN's Jeremy Fowler on Friday.   He returns to a backfield led by Isiah Pacheco that also added former San Francisco 49ers running back Elijah Mitchell this week.   Hunt, 29, joined the Chiefs for his second tour with the team early in the 2024 season after they placed Isiah Pacheco on the injured reserve list. Hunt led the Chiefs in rushing with 728 yards and seven touchdowns. He also rushed for 117 yards and two touchdowns in three postseason games.
