For sure. I think Burns on an already very good defense would be a really exciting player. But he's just not consistent enough, especially in the run game. A good enough D could make up for that a little... In an average or bad D he's just a liability on a lot of plays. -
The old "consistently good" vs "occasionally great" debate... I tend to prefer the former but it's a case-by-case thing. -
