32 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists tonight for LeBron. In the game's most pivotal moment he defends Durant, grabs the rebound, and hits 2 clutch free throws to seal it with 7 seconds left. Series is now tied 1-1 headed back to Miami.

Is that what they call blatantly fouling on at least two, but possibly three times in a span of five or so seconds.....defense???

That wasnt the biggest nor best game of his career. It was 1 win in the Finals. And grabbing 3 rebounds and dishing 1 assist in a Finals game is not "clutch" sir for a guy 6'10 and being hailed as better than LeBron James. Kobe and ESPN has fuged the game up. You guys only look at scoring, and what a player does the last 2 minutes of a game. But ignore everything else, its a joke. LOL.

Scoring 37 points in the 4th quarter of games 1 & 2 is a hell of a lot more impressive than LeBron's 6 free throws & 2 field goals.

Hurf durf points don't count in the first 3 quarters. Is that ESPN contrived argument what lebron haters have to cling to? Durant should be thankful that James harden scored all those "meaningless" points in the first half to make the comeback attempt possible.

This is the NBA Finals. Only little boys cry about refs and fouls. If KD is so clutch, he needs to do like he said in his presser after the game and "hit the shot man!" For you guys to pin this loss at that 1 play is a joke and a bailout for Durant who only had 6 points in the 1st half. LeBron did something last night Kobe Bryant choked every time he tried to, close out OKC in their floor this playoff.

not an anomaly

http://espn.go.com/blog/truehoop/miamiheat/post/_/id/14698/dan-crawford-the-heat-and-the-1-9-percent

In the nine postseasons since 2004 (the “Dwyane Wade era”), the Heat are 13-3 in playoff games reffed by Dan Crawford and 48-40 in all other playoff games in that span. To control for effects like home/road or playing better/worse opponents, it may be better to look at the expected win-loss for the Heat in those games given the pre-game point spread (betting line) for each game.

So pointing out an obvious foul that should have absolutely been called is crying....no, it's calling a spade a spade. LeBron fouled the poo out of KD on that play and got away with it. Being that two free throws could have sent the game to overtime, and KD was beasting the entire fourth, it very well may have decided the game. You spinning the argument to benefit your savior doesn't make it valid. The call was blown, and it cost OKC a chance to tie the game and send it to OT.

KD had 5 fouls and commited a charge on Battier at the 5 minute mark that was not called. So technically, he shouldnt've been in at that time anyway. Stop crying about a non-call within the last 10 seconds of the NBA Finals game. Like KD said in his presser "I missed the shot man". You think if LeBron missed a potential game tying shot with 7 seconds left he's gonna cry about foul calls? Would you be in here blaming that for the Heat losing? No, you would call him LeBrick and say he choked. Well, KD choked and needs to do more for his team if he wants to be NBA champ. End of story.

LOL. Battier is that guy though. He's brought that Duke game to the pros and its finally paying off. 5 big 3 pointers last night, he had 4 in Game 1, and 4 in Game 7 of the Boston series. If he keeps pitching in his 13-17 points a game and defending guys like Durant and Ibaka well, the Heat are tough to beat.

Where did I cry about anything in the first place? I actually only made my first post because I thought it was fuging hilarious you were trying to pass off what LeBron did as "defense" there was nothing remotely related to "defense" when you're hooking a guys arm, and for you to claim it was "defense" shows how ignorant, and ridiculously biased you are....

Had LeBron missed 1 or both of his free throws after that play, that would be the focus of the media and haters like c47. Since LeBron stepped up and hit 2 clutch ones, no mention is made of it, and we dont get constant replays of it. Instead they opt to cry about a non-call on 1st team all NBA defender LeBron James. Again, if KD doesnt choke and hits the shot, nobody's crying about calls today.

Relying on "touch calls" and "ref bailouts" to win games is what I expect from Laker fans.

You are pathetic.

Calling KD "chocking"....are you serious. The guy had a phenomenal 2nd half and especially 4th quarter. Down 13 starting the 4th and was a BS no call away from coming all the way back.

A choke job was another LeBron below avg 4th that ALLOWED the Thunder to even be there at the end.
