He is 6'11, once he fills out his body he will be playing center every day of the week.

Dirk is 7'1. Davis could develop into a Dirk type as much as a Dwight Howard type.

If anything, had the Bobcats picked Davis at #1, he'd be playing PF and Biyombo would've been the Center, ala these guys...if your coach had a clue.

Anthony Davis will be a center and he is one of the best prospects to come out since LeBron James.

He is listed as a PF and is a PF.... His body may never fill out. Point is you guys said because we have B. Mack it would be STUPID to draft another PF. I say it would be stupid to pass on the BPA in the NBA to fill a "need" position. 1 player can be the difference in the NBA unlike an NFL team.

They say dumb stuff like that because they're literalist, and they don't think outside the box.

Just because you see someone listead as a PF (Davis or Biyombo), doesn't mean they can't play something else. You play to players' strengths, not to DESIGNATIONS. If you have two PFs playing at the same time, so what? One just plays the 5, even though he's a 4.

IT'S JUST A NUMBER!!!

IT'S JUST A LABEL!!!

As soon as I got onboard with the Bobcats drafting Davis if they got #1, my first thought was, how does that combination work? Any other duo like that in recent memory? Based on Davis' skill set, and how I envision Biyombo, it became clear as day:

Davis = Rasheed Wallace (good in the post, in transition or shooting out on the perimeter).

Biyombo = Ben Wallace (strong as an ox, long arms, defensive stopper and excellent rebounder).

Watching Davis & Biyombo grow together would've been fun because they have potential to be better at some things than Rasheed and Ben were. Too bad it'll never be...

You are such an idiot lol. We tried to play Biyombo at center but it didn't work, so we had to play him at power forward. A 6-9 guy cannot play center. However a 6-11 guy can play center and would have played center for the Bobcats if we had a chance to select him.

MKG will be the pick if we keep the second pick, I can guarantee you that and when it happens, I will revisit this thread; you were probably the same guys that wanted Patrick Peterson, Dareus, and Green over Newton. Or worse you just joined because we selected Newton.

So since Biyombo didnt play center well as a 19 year old rookie, he can never play center. But once Davis's stick thin body fills out he will be perfectly fine. Okay...

Also, Biyombo measured at 6'9.5" and Davis measured out at 6'10.5" so your rounding makes no sense. (Biyomo's standing reach is actually 2" longer, for what its worth)

Bottom line, its silly to claim Davis is clearly a center and Biyombo is clearly not since they are an inch different in height and Biyombo has about 20 lbs on him. Besides, plenty of players only 6'9-6'10 play center for long stretches during games (Kevin Love, Al Horford, Al Jefferson, David Lee)

Biyombo can't play Center yet. You have no vision.

What position does Anthony Davis play again?????? oh ok ......yea yall were ready to take him wit #1......would that have been dumb because we have Biyombo?

Ofcourse we were ready to take Davis no.1. WHy? Bc a player like Anthony Davis doesn't come along every year.

Now, Thomas Robinson? He's a decent PF who could turn out being a great player in the future, but no way is he the BPA in this draft. His size and talent doesn't light you up like a Davis. And he's only 6'8".

Davis would compliment Biyombo pretty well. A Thomas Robinson would not compliment Biyombo like Davis.

just like it was dumb for the Panthers to take QB's #1 in back to back yrs???if he's the BPA why pass him up because you took a project PF the yr before?

Yah bc Clausen sucked so bad. He showed no sign of improvement. Biyombo? No, he didnt suck like Clausen. He had great games at some point and showed he has the capabilities to play in the NBA.

Cam had tons of potential who lighted up in College. He had tremendous size and athleticism who had potential to be even better. And he proved that. Robinson is pretty much a NBA ready player right now. He's set to play tomorrow but doesnt seem to have potential to get better. And no way is he the BPA after Davis. I have MKG, Drummond, and probably Barnes as BPA after Davis.

So the comparison of the Panthers taking back to back QBs is really stupid to use as your reason to why we should take another PF. If you wanna use that as your reason, should we take Damian Lillard, a PG who seems like he could be a real baller in the next level? It doesn't matter right, even though we took Kemba last year, we should still take Lillard right? Bc he's the best PG in this draft. So your point is pointless. Can people quit with comparing everything to Cam. Cam is Cam. There is only one Cam.

You watch too much ESPN if the analyst said T. Rob has "potential" you'd be on his jock. Why doesn't he have potential...how do you know he has reached his ceiling? Because he is a Jr and not a Freshman?? GTFOH........watch basketball see the IMPACT of a player, look at his stats, and look how he elevated others......T.Rob carried a team that wasn't supposed to be that good to a National title game. Just Like Cam....thats where the comparison comes from. And like I stated before no matter who is on the roster when your picking top 5 you take the BPA and figure it out!

Quit fugging comparing everything to Cam!

Like I said as much a I like TRob also, no way is he the BPA after Davis.

Maybe you need to start watching some espn.

Dude is 6'8" not 6'9", not 6'10".

He's not a great outside range shooter as people think. Hes a decent rebounder.

When you take a PF that high, you're looking for a Kevin Love or Josh Smith.

You dnt take a Blake Griffin without his athleticism. That's who Robinson is. A poor man, not highlights reeled Bake Griffin. You see what happens to Griifin in the playoffs when he can't be dunking on people and has to use his real ability as a shooter? Yah the dude flopped! If he was as athletic as Griifin the. Yes you could say he may be the BPA after Davis, but. I he's not.

Nah, Robinson is 6'9. Real life, yeah he is 6'8, but the NBA always lists height with shoes, so he is just as tall as the other 6'9 players out there.

Why are you comparing him to Blake Griffin? His game is nothing like Blake Griffin, whose offense is almost entirely predicated on his freakish athleticism. Blake Griffin without the athleticism is not an NBA player, and would struggle to play for good college teams.

You're right, he isnt an outside shooter. But he does have a low post game, which is why he was one of the top scoring big men in the country.

Decent rebounder? Have you ever seen him play? He was the 2nd leading rebounder in the entire NCAA last year, and he is without a doubt a fantastic rebounder (a skill that translates very well to the NBA, I might add)
