I played COD MW2, Black ops alot. MW3 was not so good to me. Hoping Black ops2 will be much better. But this guy went over board with COD. Giving up your chance at a good career in pro football and a possible nice fat contract just to play COD day and night. This guy has some serious issues. I played COD alot. But not 18 hours a day. I hardly play COD anymore. Not until Black ops2 comes out this fall. But this guy is crazy to give up a good job to play a game all day and night. LOL

Blah, blah, blah. I'm a casual gamer, not a professional gamer. There is a difference between professional gaming and competitive gaming (with a little '"c"). The reason why COD is the most popular franchise ever is due to console gamers. You PC types are highlighting your gamer snobbishness and nerdiness. There are hundreds of thousands of people on PSN and XBL right now playing simply for the love of the game, and these communities (including the kids) are as legitimate as any PC community. It's somewhat like how mac people talk about pc people.

That StreetFighter gadget looks cool (if not cumbersome), but the Vita is cooler. A console that in some instances can play a console. How cool is that?

BTW, many people talk poo about COD because they can't handle the breakneck pace. It's not meant to be a simulation, it's meant to maximize action, interaction, and competition.

No need to throw me in as some snobbish PC gamer elitist. I just stated why console gaming is more popular and you decided to violently agree with me. I play a little PC gaming and a little console gaming, I like them both. I even stated its totally fine that you or many others prefer console gaming over a PC. I was simply pointing out that you stating "playing with keyboad/mouse/joystick is behind the times" is an ignorant statement.

Btw I own both Modern Warfare 1 and 2 dropped well over a 100 hours into each, prestiged multiple times and hover around a 1.7 KDR. I still play the other CoDs at my buddies house. It's a good game, but I've played enough of the engine to where its not worth me dropping 60$ on it every year.

Im waiting on Arma 3 to come out or Arma 2 to go on 75% sale before i get into the DayZ mod... but it definitely has me wanting to check it out.

Edit: nevermind, its not coming to Arma 3... its going to be a standalone game with Arma 3 engine.

I knew a few people who took videogames way to serious, my friends would throw controllers and break games, it is sad, but videogames are not addictive in my opinion.

I play videogames to relax, just like i go to the gym and run, to relax and stay in shape.

I never understood why people cared so much about a videogame, but good for him for getting the help he needed for depression

You can still play for 18 hours and sleep for 7, just means you're going to bed/waking up an hour later each time until you reset, if you reset.

Ah yes, I"m sure this concept is incredibly hard for you to wrap your head around. Yes, I play video games, no I don't do it nearly 18 hours a day since I have a job among other things I like to do. I also do just fine in the love life, but nice try.

And really, the "people who play video games suck at picking up girls" thing is very tired. Just like anyone who lifts weights is automatically a meat head?
