Of course if it ends 2-all between Spain and the Croats, Italy's fuged. Spain said they'd go for the win though. I would've gotten a laugh had ESP and CRO agreed to fix the game that way. With all the match fixing in serie A, watching Italy go out due to a fixed match would've been delicious irony

The previous teams suffered from believing their own hype. How England are playing now - compact, structured, organised - is how they should always play. Instead we've tried to play football against more technical sides and been shafted every single time.
