I don't know about the players, but you would have to be blind to not see the influence the posters on this site have on the media covering the Panthers. WFNZ takes more than half of their things on the Panthers directly from here and the beat reporters constantly respond to things people here post without coming out and saying directly who they're responding to if that makes sense.
