As much as I don't want to be a buzzkill, I still think our secondary is still too much of a liability... we're playing Brees twice (assuming he gets signed), Eli, Cutler, Manning, Rivers

We will definitely be better at Safety just by getting Pugh off the field, but I still see Godfrey and Martin getting a majority of the snaps. And while we all have really high hopes for Hogan (including myself), he's still basically a rookie.

I can see us getting a wild card spot, but don't see us getting that first place just yet.

They wont be pushovers, they loaded up this year. However since their coach is young and adpting to handling pro players they are more likely to fold quicker and more likely to make errors in their new system. You can say Rivera was a rookie head coach, he was, but he wasnt a rookie coach in the NFL. Many coaches have tried to make this leap and flat out failed. . many good coaches.

It will be seen as a throw away year for them, they will be quicker to toss in the towel without a badass former championship winning, best defense ever playing, linebacking, slugging, military raised, proven defensive mind that has coached in the league around 15 years. . . (pretty sure there was slugging in there somewhere)

I guess man, Harbaugh was the right special coach in the right place to make it happen though. Big time D inherits young energetic offensive coach. . ya that happened in Tampa too before.
