As someone said earlier its all about the D. If our key guys stay healthy, our D will be complementary to our defense.

I think our offense will put up points and control the clock in most games with the way we run the ball and how deadly our red zone potential is. Our D just needs to contain the opponents and we have a good shot of doubling our win total.

Why?

We had a rookie coach, rookie QB and no offseason last year. We didn't win the division but we were quite competitive. They have a pretty good team and don't think they will be pushovers.

They wont be pushovers, they loaded up this year. However since their coach is young and adpting to handling pro players they are more likely to fold quicker and more likely to make errors in their new system. You can say Rivera was a rookie head coach, he was, but he wasnt a rookie coach in the NFL. Many coaches have tried to make this leap and flat out failed. . many good coaches.

It will be seen as a throw away year for them, they will be quicker to toss in the towel without a badass former championship winning, best defense ever playing, linebacking, slugging, military raised, proven defensive mind that has coached in the league around 15 years. . . (pretty sure there was slugging in there somewhere)

only thing i don't agree with is the snubbing of james anderson.

we have 4 big play making LBs on this team now.

the core/spine of this defense is going to be incredibly solid.

This whole huddle fanbase underestimates Anderson, ESPN sure as hell won't give him any recognition. He has stayed perfectly healthy and was the only injury away from us setting some real embarrising records last year. I am so glad we signed him and he was drafted and grew with the panthers, now holding the Panther tackle record. I think he has hit his cieling or will soon but who knows he could grow more, either way he is an above average player perfect to shadow Luke or John. I love Davis but right now I can't see him being more than a rotational/situational player.
