Good read on what to expect from our offense in 2012

You are certainly entitled to your opinion but most great coaches are also great teachers. Many of these players would not even be in the NFL without the help of a great coach ie Tom Brady.

well I am just talking NFL football not what gets players here....in professional sports talent not coaching rules. That doesn't mean coaching doesn't have it's role and importance but it is a talent driven league.

Interesting that People say Fox wouldn't have used a spread offense with Newton or used the option if he were still here. What exactly did he implement with The Golden Calf of Bristol in Denver last year???

yep.

Nothing wrong w/ going conservative. What did the 49ers do last year? It just leaves little room for error and injury...and poor QB play or bad D.

Newton would have made Davidson/Fox look like genius' if they were put together. All Davidson would have had to do was add one formation and could of kept the rest. Double Trouble have thrived in his formations when the QB appeared to be at threat. So has Smitty. They thrived with weaker QB play as well. Clausen 2010 level is when things get rough. He just wasn't ready to even be the play not to lose and hurt the team QB Fox needed.

Fox did it for years. I never understood the whole lets win a game 17-14. Finally caught up with him when he didn't have the players.

I think Peyton and Fox are a match made in heaven.

The last season Fox had average QB play for a season in Carolina the Panthers were 7th in points (2008).

outside of 2006....Fox genereally was able to score points pending he had a QB. I mean going to Carr and Clausen were rough years but Fox's teams w/ QB spot filled properly put up offense

Easier to be conservative when you can count on your defense for the field position. As a fan I enjoy watching our offense now more than I ever had.
