Good read on what to expect from our offense in 2012

The point made was that we will use the option and that we pull our guards which is one reason we drafted Silatolu and he is absolutely correct. We ran much better to the outside last year and it is the best way to use WIlliam's and Stewart's speed and quickness. We will run the option and it requires guards to pull and pancake linebackers and defensive ends on the edges.

Will it be all we do? Of course not but there is a reason that the playbook is hundred of pages long and most articles are less than 1. You can't expect him to do more than discuss one play or concept or talk in general terms. Give the guy a break or try and do better.

Stewart's runs up the middle IMO are very underrated.

But yeah in regards to your post, we need to get Williams on the field more with plays that set him up on the outside. Maybe Tolbert helps...as he can aid in pass protection if Cam needs to audible out of runs

Stewart not only is a good runner inside, but like Davis in 2003, he rarely goes down on the first hit or gets hit for a loss. I would actually like us to put Stewart and Williams on the field at the same time using a triple option attack. I especially like using Stewart and Newton going one direction and tossing it to Williams going the opposite direction on occasion. Williams scored a TD last year on that exact play. I would like us to line up with Tolbert, Stewart and Williams in the backfield on occasion especially goal line although I doubt we go with more than 2 at a time most of the time.

Tolbert will also give us some great running up the middle as well. It should allow us to have the best running game in football, bar none.

With the addition of Siatula and Tolbert the running game should be better. Now how much should we expect Cam to improve in making faster reads and not forcing it to Smith as much?LaFell and Gettis should be left in single coverage and see more looks this year.LaFell looked really good at times but seemed to disappear at times.See what Cud said about Tolbert below.

"Panthers offensive coordinator Rob Chudzinkski has worked out some new, undisclosed ways

to use Tolbert, Joseph Person of the Charlotte Observer writes.

"I can't reveal it, but we're learning some different stuff and doing some different things that I haven't done in the past," Tolbert said. "Chud and coach (Ron) Rivera have a lot of confidence in me. With that being said, I'm going to go out and try to prove them right."

What could this mean?

Fake option to DWill hand off to Tolbert, Tolbert bombs it deep to Cam for a TD.

Now that interesting...wishbone, triple option and the full house. I do think our run game will be the best in the league and will cause a lot of headaches this season.

I think there will be two important changes that we'll see this year. One is the heavy use of the no huddle. Limiting the defenses ability to make substitution into and out of sub-packages means we can run/pass when we have an advantage. Additionally we can tire out their DL and CBs which can lead to mistakes and big plays.

Secondly, I expect there will be a major emphasis on being in great condition. If we're going to go to the playoffs this year, we have to win the 4th quarter and being in better shape than the opponet is part of that.

In addition I feel they will get the ball to the number 2 and 3 WR and hot reads to Tolbert to slow down the rush..Sounds like a plan

I think it will be one of the most efficient in the league...but this team is being built around Cam and not a groud attack..... So it shouldn't rank (how the league ranks them) as the best. That will go to a team like the Jets or KC
