DO NOT get the cheapest. Get like the 2nd or 3rd cheapest. The cheapest sometimes fall apart or the plastic coating rips. It's only a dollar or two difference but it's worth it IMO.

I got $0.99 one it works like a beast. Actually I got 3 $0.99 cables and they all work great.

Doesn't really matter, like others have said. But if you're doing 3D, go with HDMI 1.4; they are the only cables than can do 3D in 1080P

If exposed wiring that you can replace easily...go cheap. If running through wall to another location, you might want to go a little more...but still cheap to ensure good connectors.

1.4 does not do internet from what I know of it. What it is supposed to do is allow the devices to 'talk' to each other.. It is also supposed to get you control of a DVD or Sat box via the TV remote without having to program much...

Do not pay an outrageous amount, you get one that says 1.4 and you should be golden...

If you are running them in the wall I would suggest putting 2, in case one fails you already have the replacement in place...

check newegg and amazon for reviews. FP is right, super cheap HDMI cords can sometimes handshake a TV, so go 2nd or 3rd tier. But the difference in digital quality is nothing.
