Blackmon dui

Recommended Posts

You can teach and preach about the perils of drinking and drinving. But you are crazy if you think you can stop virile young men from strutting their stuff.

So IMO , you are then left with two options. One, hope the player is smart enough to use alternate means of transport. Or best case, learn his limits. And two, teach them the dirty little secrets needed to drive drunk successfully.

This is an issue that rears its ugly head far too often in the sports world. Hell, in the day to day world as well. Too bad for him, but I am not going to lose sleep for him.

Why isnt there a private driving service set up already for team players.. You would think nfl teams investing so much on these guys they would have something in place.

Team should not be paying for a driving service to drive millionaires around. They can afford this.

I'm pretty sure jail time of a year doesn't occur until your 4th offense in nearly any jurisdiction. The amount of people with multiple DUIs within 10 years is pretty alarming, I'm sure.

They recently changed the law and yes you can get jail time with your 2nd

Sounds to me someone really needs to be more concerned that he has a serious substance abuse issue and get him help.

Its easy to cast stones and call names when this happens, but I know folks far better than most of you that have had the same happen. We all have our demons.

Yeah but its fun to pile on these athletes who make more $$$, are more celebrated, and have a higher place in society than us. This is our way to pay them back and vent about that. Thats why these threads go 6-7 pages, and a Ryan Leaf thread cant make it to 2. Passing judgement on athletes like Blackmon is the only thing we're consistently good at.

Actually I think the Panthers provide one of these driving services for their players.

Almost every team has a driving service available for their players and the NFLPA has a driving service in every NFL city for current and retired players I think.
