Blackmon dui

Recommended Posts

nah it was a thread were he called 2 black athletes a thug for getting dwi's and having drugs but said the white guy had a sickness.who actually robbed people.

My point about KT is that EVERY post he makes has to do with race. The guy sees the world as black vs. white.

I do think that everyone on here calling Blackmon a "thug" for getting a DUI is an idiot. It had nothing to do with character, race, ethics, etc. It is a 21 yo kid who just got paid and is living it up. He made some dumb decisions, like most 21 yos do.

I hope that Blackmon figures this all out. Because continuing to make these dumb decision (2nd DUI) could derail a probably productive and lucrative career in the NFL.

Most of these dumb decisions are due to athletes having minor digressions swept under the rug for most of their lives. It often starts as early as middle school and continues. This has nothing to do with race and has more to do with it just being the way the major sports game is played.

These rookies are barely the age of adulthood and have never really been taught that consequences always follows bad decisions. Now they have millions if dollars and are often surrounded by people living off their friend's fame and fortune.

Again this has absolutely nothing to do with race nor being a "thug". And anyone saying it is shows their true stripes.

Dumb decisions in the BFL knows no racial barriers...there are plenty of examples of every race making bad decisions like this.

Booked at 10AM...if the BAC is accurate, this isn't another minor screw up...Remember the first one was 92 in a 60 at 3:20AM coming back from a Cowboys Monday night game he went to without the Coach's permission...There's never a good excuse for these things, but there's plenty of weight behind judging this guy's character after these things. It's on him to overcome it and prove that it's not accurate to view him as just another slack-ass, inconsiderate, dangerous, and entitled athlete who doesn't respect the law or think about the consequences of his actions....Like I said, he's lucky he hasn't injured or killed anyone and he's certainly on the road to ruin.

.24 BAC? holy hell. I read somewhere that most people die around .35, dude must have been plastered. Thats like 12 drinks deep, probably more considering he's a big dude.

I honestly don't think he's going to pan out like a top ten pick wideout is expected to. He has nowhere near the pedigree of AJ Green or Julio from last year. Considering he's got Gabbert throwing to him and this DUI mess, he's going to have a rough first few years.

He knew he was drunk, he knew what he was doing was wrong, and he knew he endangered the lives of women, children, men, and himself. My best friends mother was killed by a drunk driver, and in my opinion I think anyone who does it twice should rot in jail for the next five-ten years.

I don't care if he is black, white, purple, or blue, he is idotic and has very poor character.
