Yeah, but a 33 year old running back who has been splitting carries for most of his career is probably about as fresh as a 30 year old one. Thirty is the age most people consider to be when backs lose a step. Figure it'll be a little bit longer with DeAngelo and 2016 when his contract is up might be the perfect time to let him go.

I think most teams didn't know that they essentially borrowed against the 2014 cap to keep this years cap from going down. By the time they let the teams know Hurney had already signed Williams. I am not sure it was his fault. Seems we are still finding out things about the CBA which are just now bring explained.

No doubt. Yes he split carries in the pro's so far, but the man leads the NCAA D1 in all purpose yardage. He probably had close to double the mileage on him than most RB's coming out.

I still think he'll have more left in the tank once he hits 30. It might just be homerism and generally liking DeAngelo as a person. I guess we'll just have to wait and see though.

Yeah that is a big deal, he was very successful and a true workhorse at Memphis. Just to be accurate I think some small school guys may have more yards, but for D1 "big boy" ball he is the record holder.
