I like to hit the Two Krispy Cremes before the early practice.

I am going to have my son with me, and I know this is a silly question but is there like a DQ or Brewsters in Spartanburg or just and ole fashion ice cream place?

Oh, yes. We have both on the west side of Spartanburg (only about 10 minutes drive from camp) and a Bruster's on the east side as well (maybe a little less drive). Near camp also are McDonald's, Long John Silvers, KFC, Jimmy John's, Starbucks (bottom of the hill, within walking distance, as is Jimmy John's and Heavenly Ham or Honeybaked Ham -- can't remember which it is). Also a great Mexican restaurant -- local/regional chain called Corona's -- is close by (but I suggest driving).

Staffers in the Visitors Bureau tent will be able to give you directions, or I can give them to you here.

We also have three or four of those crazy yogurt places where you fill up your cup with whatever flavors and toppings you want and pay based on weight. A couple of the west side. At least one on the east side. One in the Boiling Springs area (near camp).

We have all the chains, too ... Ruby Tuesday (west and east), Appleby's (west and east), Outback (west), Long Horn (west), Golden Corrall (if you like buffetts), City Range (west), Olive Garden (west) ... off the top of my head.
