Nobody ever develops a jump shot after the age of 18?

Jesus Christ man do you give any thought to this sh!t while you're typing it out

Name one player who came into the NBA with a god awful jump shot form & no outside range whatsoever & developed into a consistent jump shooter with good form.

Well Jason Kidd is the most extreme example I can think of off the top of my head, but plenty of guys struggled before coming in. MKG really isnt that bad, he hit like 25% from 3 point range and 75% on his free throws.

MKG can't even make a damn jumpshot. He's 18, not 10. If you haven't got that basic skill by now you're not gonna "develop" it in the pros.

Drummond or bust. At least he has potential to be a dominant center. If his heart is in it & he works hard he's gonna make NO look silly for taking Davis #1.

Most of these idiots are hyping "MKG" because they like saying "MKG" and "Kidd-Gilchrist". They'd rather take a chance on someone DEVELOPING A JUMPSHOT instead of someone improving their handle, which is illogical thinking.

Again, the only reason they do, is because they like "MKG/Kidd-Gilchrist's" attitude. They think he's "tough" and "flashy".

He's coooooool.

...SARCASM throughout.

Richard Jefferson is another that comes to mind

Derrick Rose also qualifies (if you think his jumper is good enough now)

Channing Frye

Luol Deng

Does Shawn Marion count if he could only shoot with the Suns?

And none of those guys are anything more than role players. Andre Drummond has Bynum/Howard potential. He could develop into a superstar.

What!? Jason Kidd is a role player? Derrick Rose, Joe Johnson? Just admit your original point was absurd, then make your case for Drummond. Dont just post a bunch of bullsh!t then try to change the subject when someone calls you out

Derrick Rose is an overrated slasher with a decent mid-range. Jason Kidd is an assist machine who developed an average outside game 12+ years into his career.

Great argument.

So are you finally admitting that players can develop a jump shot in the NBA?

Or are you simply upping the stupidity of your argument by claiming that Derrick Rose and Jason Kidd are role players?

Derrick Rose is NOT a good jump shooter, neither is Jason Kidd.

What exactly does Jason Kidd need to do to prove to you he is a good jump shooter? He hits about 40% of his 3s and he shoots a bunch of them. Back in 09/10 he was 3rd in the NBA in 3 pointers made. He is unquestionably an excellent shooter at this point in his career, and he could not hit a damn thing when he entered the NBA.

Derrick Rose is only a decent jump shooter though, I'll give you that.

Loul Deng. All defender with little shooting abilities. What now, a pretty good outside range shooter. Deng is a comparable player to MKG.
