Bobcats 1st Round-Pick #2 SF Michael Kidd-Gilchrist

Recommended Posts

Yes to MKG and no to Kamen, he is too old.

I say break the bank for Roy Hibbert and make him an offer that he can't turn down

PG- Kemba Walker

SG- Gerald Henderson

SF- Michael Kidd-Gilchrist

PF- Bismack Biyombo

C- Roy Hibbert

outside Kemba that is one hell of a defensive team. I like it.

The fact that Henderson starts simply proves how much the rest of the lineup sucked. It doesn't mean he needs to be a part of your long-term plans.

Yes i agree.

I'm one of the few, probably the only one who think that Henderson is not a player for the future. Dude is athletic but terrible most of the time IMO. Hes not someone who can go out there and win a game for us. He will never be able to. As a lottery pick, he should have shown more than what he has. Hendo is at best someone who comes off the bench only.

With that said, no one said he was going to be a long term plan. But for now he is. It's not that easy trading Henderson as people think. So it is what it is. Stick with who you have and don't complain.

If we hire Jerry Sloan, I think he will make Kemba a top 10 point guard in the league for years to come.

I say this because Sloan has coached arguably four of the top 50 point guards in NBA history in Reggie Theus, John Stockton, Mark Jackson, and Deron Williams.

Never going to happen for Kemba. Not that it matters for the Bobcats, anyway. Like I said. As soon as he gets a chance, Kemba is gone. He'll do all he can to end back up in NY.

How'd you know NY going to want him?

The point is Kemba isn't staying in Charlotte. He's too "bright lights" to do so. Doesn't matter whether NY wants him or not. He's going to try to go to a team in that region, and almost certainly end up on one of them when he does. I don't know whether he'll be considered a "bust" or a beast by then. Either way, he won't be in Charlotte when he gets a chance to bounce.

I think that will depend quite a bit on the state of the Bobcats at that point in time.

I disagree, these young guys for some odd reason really like playing for Jordan so I think Kemba stays.

You hope he stays. If young guys liked playing for Jordan, they wouldn't have been 7-59 this past season. I don't see a whole lot of free agents saying Charlotte is where they plan on ending up other than guys like Seth Curry who would want to regardless of who the owner was.

Besides, nothing concerning Kemba Walker matters other than NY. That's where he'll be, if he can be.

I said young guys, not all guys like playing for Jordan and it helps if you put a team on the court that could beat a high school team.

I repeat: Kemba isn't staying in Charlotte. Last time I checked, Charlotte isn't NY or anything like it. That is ALL THAT WILL MATTER when Kemba gets a chance to leave.

    • I'm going with Robinson tonight.
    • I've watched and listened to several evaluations from the good ole youtubers.  From what I was able to watch, the first few drives before I left to do a job to the end of the game were very different for Bryce.  So he had a "good" game.  Which is great.  I love a win, period.  His WRs had some drops, thing ripped away, etc.  Not great, but a W is a W, right? I think the Panthers have to start Bryce.  You have to see if he continues to build on the good plays and make fewer and fewer bad plays.  No QB is going to play a perfect game.  But we need to continue to see Bryce make plays.  Does he have the ability to will his team to victory?  I'm not sure. I'm still in the Bryce is a backup QB camp.  I'm glad he had a good game, I glad we won, but I need to see more before we make a decision to keep or trade him.  Playing Andy literally does NOTHING to help you for the future.  Andy may not even resign with the Panthers.  We could be out both starting QBs by the time FA/Draft season hits. Ultimately, this is a Dan Morgan and Dave Canales issue.  Can they get value out of Bryce to help them improve the total roster?  Is there a FA QB who would be an upgrade?  A surprise cut or post season trade?  Or is there a QB at the top of the draft who they think they can mold into a high level starting QB?  I don't know. I do know I want to see more of Bryce Young and more out of him on the field.  I want to see the fire, the competitor come out.  I want him getting pissed.  I want him to grab his beanbag and tell us all he's the f'ing dude.  I just don't think we'll see that out of Bryce.  If not the fire, then let me see the ice - let me see the rattle proof dude who kills with accuracy and playmaking no matter how hot and crazy it gets.
