Bradley Beal Please!

Good shooter with the potential to be a great shooter. Got better and better as his freshman year went on. Arguably played his best basketball in the NCAA tourney. By all accounts extremely coachable and hard working. Is only 18 years old and has a ton of upside.

He will stretch the defense and open up the middle for our post players and dribble penetration. Very good athlete and rebounder for a guard (6.7 rpg).

He will be better than Michael Kidd-Gilchrist in the long term in my opinion.

We need guys who can but the ball in the basket in particular, on the perimeter. Not a guy like MKG that only shot 25% from 3 point range.

So if we stay at #2 that is my guy. And a hard no to MKG or Drummond.

I haven't seen much on Beal. I wouldn't mind it but Im leaning toward MKG more. I do believe we need a shooter. I think any of those two can be something for us. It's either Beal or MKG. I just like MkG a bit more due to his size, where I think we're a pretty small team. But at the same time, MKG can defend. I'm biting my tounge on Drummond and Robinson.

The bobcats org. better not sleep and do their homework. We need to hit on this pick to save our future. We better get a star player who will sell jerseys with this pick.

Barnes is not in the discussion.Obviously there is no way to prove that and I'm sure there will be about 300 "bobcats are drafting Barnes" jokes made here in the next month, but I'm confident that the team drafts someone else- I would be shocked if Barnes goes top 5

Barnes will shine in workouts and with his personality. If we trade down then I can see us taking him.

Barnes or Beal for their ability to contribute immediately. I like Beal slightly better than Barnes but would be happy with either.

Neither player will wow you with athletic ability. With Barnes you get a better scoring package and more size and potentially multi positional. With Beal you get more range and potentially someone who can help run the offense(which is why I like Beal just a little bit more). Both are young and IMO are both the perfect combination of skills needed to make an immediate impact year 1 as well as the potential to take on a key role for a contending team sometime down the road.

I wouldn't mind Kidd-Gilchrist either. Could really be the best pick of the draft as far as what role he could end up playing at the next level. Kid is not a shooter though, which I think would have made him a better prospect than Davis. I could see him having a Rondo like effect on the game given the right situation. I don't think we are a very good situation for him even though I love him as a player. His offensive deficiencies could peg him as a bit of a tweener.

Robison is going to make a great 4 man in the league. I've seen some say wing forward, but I don't see him having the chops for top level perimeter play. He will probably be really good in the screen and roll and has great size and athletic ability by NBA standards. He's a matured player, and though I am not saying he can't expand his game, I do think hes a 'what you see is what you get' prospect.

Just say no to Drummond if you are the Bobcats. I've followed Drummond since before he left school to enroll at Uconn a year early. There he underwhelmed on a team that just was not a very good Uconn team despite how talented they were (2 potential lottery picks). You can be the biggest freak athlete to ever step on a basketball court, but that doesn't mean anything if you're just going to standing around the whole game. Its a challenge to evaluate young front court players when their team has inconsistent guard play. Maybe that was part of Drummond's issues last year. But the fact that he has carried a reputation for being a player who often struggles with being fully engaged since his high school days is better be concerning for whoever ends up coaching the one of the worst teams in NBA history next season.
