All the proud sellouts should come in here and pop champagne with me. The Hornets got the #1 pick!!!! And you guys arent even posting. C'mon man, tthis is huge. You stuck it to Charlotte. You stuuck it to Bob. You stuck it to MJ! Thatll teach em not to award the franchise to Larry Bird! You guys showed the world New Orleans > Carolins, and it paid off.

Charlotte Observer, lets get a quote from Sue Myrick or Bruton Smith about how much the Hornets franchise means to Charlotte. We are in their shadow.

such a scam. I bet the Bobcats will get the number one next year though. I wouldn't mind a combo of Shabazz Muhammed and Beal, MKG, Robinson, or even Drummond (who as of late has been rising up a lot of people's boards)

Well looks like Ziggy locked the Charlotte Hornets thread over at bobcatsplanet.com. Where will the sellouts go now? I suspect theyll come crawling back begging to be accepted by Bobcat fans. We'll never forget how they abandoned us at our lowest point to support New Orleans. As quick as this bandwagon grew, itll evaporate even faster. Time to think of a new way to stick it to Bob!

      Respectfully, I completely disagree. Last year we were:  32nd in Sacks. 32nd in Turnovers.  32nd in Rushing TDs allowed  29th in Scoring.  We were absolutely atrocious on defense last year and that was with a full stable of weapons in Derek Brown, Frankie Luvu and Brian Burns that played all 17 games.  Using yards per game as a metric to guage our success lacks the context that because our offense was so inept teams were not driving the length of the field, they were starting at their 40-50 yard line.  This year, our Defense ranks:  31st in Sacks. Tied for 19th in Turnovers  31st in Rushing TDs allowed 32nd in Scoring  His defense fails to get pressure, fails to turn the ball over and fails to stop the run. Three things you absolutely have to do to be successful in the NFL.  Denver meanwhile has not missed a beat without him.  If another team wants to hire him as a HC and the Panthers get two 3rds for it I'll wish him the best and pack his bags myself.
