Gee, You Don't Suppose That Was Fixed...

The solution to end this argument? The NBA needs to have a Draft where the worst team gets the first pick, and it goes back from there. They've needed it for years. It's worked out very, very well for the NBA.

(Unless the NBA wants this, a "any press, is good press" type idea.)

Do we have faith in Cho to make something great happen?

I can see him swinging some sort of deal for the 6 and 11 picks. Either that or keeping the 2 pick and somehow getting back in the 1st round.

idk..i think cho is a very good gm.

If a true #2 emerges from the pack then I hope we go with him but if it remains a jumble of equal talent after Anthony Davis, we need to see what Portland would be willing to give up to move into our spot. Obviously #6 & #11 would be part of the package but they will need to give us something more.

This is funny every year. We had a what? 5% better chance than New Orleans, but them winning means it's fixed. I'll go ahead and write the headlines people were prepping for their latest "The Lottery is Rigged" story if somebody else had won:

Bobcats: The NBA fixed it to help out Jordan.

Cleveland: The NBA is making up for Lebron.

Warriors: The NBA is rewarding them for getting a new stadium deal.

Washington: Big market, more money

New Jersey: Moving to Brooklyn and it's a big market team with famous owners

Toronto: appeasing the Canadians and the Basketball Jones podcast.

But still people convince themselves that the NBA wanted the most popular player to go to New Orleans, which more than any other team and fanbase, is the basketball version of Siberia. Losing out on Davis sucks, but convincing yourself of some garbage conspiracy sucks worse.

I mean you should at least be happy that we got the 2nd pick, when we statistically had the greatest probabillity of getting the 4th pick (I know it's weird. Look it up).

Conspiracy theroies, however delusional they can be, exist because there is the possibility and motive.

New Orleans is the most obvious one along with major-market Brooklyn Nets..

Motive

NBA owns Hornets..lukewarm interest in NBA teams since most struggle turning decent profits and huge contract commitments...had a handshake deal to sell the team...because of zero commodites on the team currently.

Stern: " meet our offer and we will ensure you will have a commodity"

Conspiracy!!! Sure even if the Bobcats got it it would be the Jordan "Solid".....no one said these have to be factual..but the conspiracy exists for decades.

There is a God and he absolutely hates Michael Jordan and this Bobcats Team. The Lotto outright proved something is fuged up with this NBA system.

I mean, really. Being the worst team in recent NBA history can't even grant you the #1 pick in this league. The NBA has officially lost a fan this day. fug them.

I wouldn't doubt it if in 10 years we're seeing the B**cats packed and gone and the Hurricanes struggling to fill seats in Raleigh and move to Charlotte... easy move... with downtown arena... Carolina namesake... it would be a very good move.

Though, in that 10 years I'd rather see a Major League baseball team here.

I couldn't care less about the NBA at this point.

When it came down to us vs. New Orleans we had a 65% chance to their 35% chance.

Secondly, you're an idiot.
