Pitter patter? pffffff. Its a shame the sport is so crooked but it always has been. Its so evident on even a local level , nobody spars hard. These guys roll everyday and get really good at BJJ but none of them get even close to being an average boxer. The price is harder to pay when you are getting hit in the head. To be honest rolling hurts more then getting hit in the head. I feel like a pretzel whenever I get puppet mastered by good ground guys.

UFC has a weird cult following too. It's big up here in the lake Norman area where I live for some reason. Go to the rusty rudder on a Saturday night and count the dbags in affliction and tap out shirts.

Freddie Roach said Anderson Silva couldnt make the transition to boxing. He did add however it appears Anderson only goes 60% when he spars then looks good when he fights but of course when he fights he is hitting a wrestler. I think you would agree Silva is one of the better standup fighters.

I watched the fights last weekend and I have to say.... if I wanted to watch two muscular guys get sweaty, roll around on the floor with their legs wrapped around each other, while wearing tight clothes I would just watch gay porn..... or pro wrestling.

This is a ridiculous post. You have a handful of posts and are talking like a seasoned vet.

In reality, the people who have been here the longest and have the most posts/clout should band together to do our own modding... Not with any privileges, but imagine how effective this would be to someone with just a few hundred posts... And suddenly 6 or 7 of us bombard the thread and change his mind. Peer pressure is a hell of a thing to say no to if it's done properly.

That's what we need to do. Inflict bans on people that make them not want to post... Instead of a real ban.
