I Am Going To Build A Corn Hole Set, Need Advice

Anyone ever built a set of corn hole boards???

I am going to make Panthers themed boards.

I have looked at a couple of plans to make them. And I have also looked at a couple different designs by people who build them to sell. I am pretty good with woodworking, and have all of the tools to do the job.

I will use this on the beach probably every weekend, Here are some things that I am planing on doing, a little different...

I am going to use 2x3s instead of 2x4s for the base. It will make it alot lighter, and easy to carry.

I am also going with 1/2 plywood as opposed to 3/4, again for the weight issue.

I am going to use only stainless steel on all bolts, screws, nails, etc....(will help it stay together longer, due to the salt water.)

I have heard that if you use decals, they will start to wear down overtime. I may decide to use decals, then poly urethane over top of it. I am not the best artist, so painting the panthers logo would not come out well! Anyone know of a stencile pattern?

My real question is with the bean bags. I would like to get some with designs. I have googled them, haven't seen any designs I like. I would prefer to get the new logo, but it will probably take a while for that material to hit the shelves. I would like to also get high quality ones too, something that can withstand abuse, sand, salt water, etc... I guess my best bet will probably be ordering offline.

Anyone have experience building them, to offer pointers? Or can someone suggest a good website for some HQ bean bags at a cheaper price?

TL;DR = building Panther boards, does anyone have ideas for the design I should put on there? Anyone know of a good website for bean bags?

Thanks

I'm not an expert but wouldn't the 1/2 plywood make the bags bounce more.

I played on a set this weekend that was 1/2, with the 2x3s as a base, and they were not too bouncy. I think if you use 1x4s, them it's bouncy
