I care because his comments were a shot at a team that I'm a fan of, and he chose to make slanderous comments to back some facts about the Panthers. His opinion means nothing, but his comments did piss me off. Also I hate the 49ers, so any 49ers player that wants to mouth off, makes me hate them even more,

We are Panthers fans, sometimes with blind faith but, fug it, the other Panthers fans will back them up. I am with Bullet, fug the 49ers all the way back to when the Panthers weren't around. I hated them when I was a Falcon fan pre-95. Jerry Rice is over-rated, Montana was stupid and Steve Young is Gotdamn left handed. You might as well give up because we will never stop.

Only wish the 49ers could be good enough to make the playoffs this year so we could play them.

I was simply trying to understand why you would get upset when someone who doesn't matter makes a statement which doesn't matter. And obviously his opinion does matter or it wouldn't piss you off.
