Jeffri Chadiha's Top 10 Receivers

Recommended Posts

LOL, just a "good" slot WR....he is THE NFL slot WR. Potentially of all time.

Welker does have drops....He also catches more balls. Smitty drops the ball more frequently if you want to go off stats.

Also, in regards to the soft remark....how many touches does Welker have vs Smitty? Now look at how Welker has zero fumbles despite all those and Smitty many in comparison despite less touches....Smitty often would be better off going down at times

Can't get your nose out of his jock eh? I think you're wrong about Smith dropping more passes per attempt. Either way, Smitty>Welker. And that's with homerism aside. Any analyst that knows that their talking about would tell you the same as well. Welker doesn't fumble because he doesn't fight for yards. He takes what is there and goes down.

Wes Welker ladies and gentlemen, possibly one of the greatest #2 WR's ever. Lol

Well it isn't tough math....but Smith averages more frequent drops when compared to his receptions.

And Smitty is > than Welker in this offense or if asked to take on the role of a traditional #1.

Welker is a different WR. Asked to do different things. He is arguably the greatest slot man in NFL history.

Welker and Smith are different and play the game different.....you are too focused on why Welker isn't like Smith. Like I pointed out....look at Welkers touches and lack of fumbles compared to Smith....Smith needs to go down often when he doesn't.

Welker is an elite WR. Patriots also went from being a running/defensive to a uber passing team when BB realized what Welker allowed Brady to do.

Well, I realize it isn't tough math..but I'd like to see the information your spouting off with. Eh, fug it..I could care less anymore.

Smith is a better WR all around. Hell, if Smith would have had Brady throwing to him (or even Cassell..during the Teste, Moore, Clausen days) I think he'd almost be a lock for HOF. To be honest man, you're just rehashing everything you've already said..which makes me think you've ran out of real estate on this topic. Welker is NOT an elite WR, but rather a good one.

You have the drop numbers.

Every sport website has there receptions over the last two years.

What other info do you need?

Again, what makes someone elite? Name a 2 WRs not named Smith, Megatron, Fitz, or Andre.....better.

NFL isnt about what you have potential to do....it is simply a production league.

Last 5 years (half a decade)

554 receptions, 6105 rec yards, 31 TDs, 1 FL

Vs

355 receptions, 5353 rec yards, 29 TDs, 6 FL

So now, instead of telling you why Wes Welker isn't elite..you want me to name a better #2 WR? Lol

Just accept my opinion and move on. Like I've already said..this is all opinionated in the first place.

ANY...head coach in this league would rather have Smitty than Wes. Bank on it. ;)

All I have asked is for you to tell me what in your opinion makes a player elite..... and you can't.

I asked for you to name a player simply bc I was going to point out you can't name a more productive player. Production is all that really matters.

Welker doesnt have to have the skill set of an Andre Johnson and play a traditional #1 to be elite.....just like a QB doesn't have to be a pure passer or a RB just a rusher

That's because it's obvious what makes a WR elite. I'm not going to waste my time telling you what an elite WR is..when you can just look at a few of them in the NFL. And I do NOT mean Wes. lol. A players production really has a lot to do with more than just the player himself. Someone has to get him the ball..there's a lot of other factors that go into it that you're just...not comprehending? Welker isn't elite. He's a good slot WR. ;)

QFT! Nice list. Looks right to me...

Some people might say I have Jennings a little low, but his stock drops some from having the current best QB in the game slinging it to him. Also, in no way does Roddy White belong on any top ten WR list....

What makes someone elite for me is clearly different than you. I have voiced that production is the main factor for me.....you cant state what you look at.

Welker performed just as good with Cassel as Brady.

Welker is a slot WR. Arguably the greatest in NFL history. Teams can't stop him...he is elite. He has out produced almost every WR in the NFL since defining the slot in NE.
