Without Bosh this should be interesting. LeBron & Wade are playing great but 2 guys can only go so far. They have no help & nobody who can guard Rondo or Garnett.

The Celtics bench is trash. Whos gonna stop D Wade? LeBron? The Heat beat a better Boston team in 5 last year. With Bosh out, Heat will go small with Bron at the 4 playing the Karl Malone role. Watch how he dominates their front court of Bass and KG. Pacers > Celtics

Battier can guard Pierce about as well as he did David West. Which wasn't very well. Boston is a bad match up for Miami without Bosh. They can't guard Pierce & KG.

Boston is a great matchup for Miami, theyre old, slow, and dont put up points. Miami's smallball will kill them.

I agree with KT, in that this is it for the old man Celtics. While the Spurs and Thunder will battle it out in the WCF, Miami will get this series over with quickly and get a lot of rest before the finals. The Pacers were the only threat to the Heat in the East, really.

On Battier, Battier is one of the best defenders in the league. He did a good job on West last series, and should be able to do a good job on Pierce.

The Celtics are a veteran group, they know now what Malloy and the NBA have in store for them.

Take a seat, Ed Malloy. If not for the rest of this season's NBA playoffs, at least for the remainder of the second round.

That should be the discipline dealt to the ref who tossed Paul Pierce out of yesterday's Boston-Miami game. Pierce wasn't the instigator on either of his technical fouls and if ever you're going to grant leeway on verbal sparring it's at this time of year.
