Huddle, I Need Your Advice

Don't get con'ed into the alarm sales thing.

Listen, in one months time, you will have $0, lost expenses (gas, suits, business cards, brochures, etc...), and most importantly, you will have wasted your time (opportunity cost).

If you are serious about getting into sales, find a retail job like foot locker, or something where you are proactively trying to convince people to buy your product in a retail setting, (ohh and you get PAID for your time!!!!). Want to be on the road selling? Try Yellowbook, that gives you great B2B experience (business to business), plus you get great training.

All I am saying, if it were me, and I wanted to give sales a try, don't set yourself up to fail in a BS role like alarm sales....try it in a retail environment first to see if you like it or have what it takes to be successful.

Best of luck!

Do not, I repeat do not pick door number 2, unless he is willing to give out the names and numbers of these other guys making bank.

If he won't do that, and won't set up a time to speak with one of them, then you know the con is on.

Take the sure thing, and keep on looking.

BTW I have been commission only for almost 10 years, but in a field where you actually can make some money.
