Brandon Hogan Concedes He's Still Not 100%

Recommended Posts

You guys got a totally different meaning from his comments than I did. He said he has pain and swelling sometimes, key word sometimes but he feels he's close to where he needs to be. I've always said he'll be a stud and when the time comes he will be.

Also it hasn been two years since his surgery, stop exaggerating.

If it takes hogan 2 years to heal from a knee injury it probably takes otah a month to heal from a paper cut.

I'm not too worried about it right now. If he is still in pain come August I'll start to worry that it may plague him throughout the season. You have to remember Hurney took a flier on the kid because skill wise he graded out as a second rounder and we got him in the fourth because of his injury and off-field issues.

You better believe Hogan wants to step up and stay healthy while wining the second cornerback job like most of this fan base wants to see. Hogan is physical and aggressive and his presence on the field will give this defense some nastiness that was nonexistent last season. I, for one, can't wait to see what this kid can do.

Well if he has pain and swelling now what does that equate to when the season starts? Not a good sign that this is healing well.

I think it's too early to panic, Rivera has him running w/ the 2nd team, if they were concerned about his medical they would be resting him not running him with the 2's (and the 1's for the latter portion of practice according to reports).

Id hate to see that Hogan still has swelling which after two years can be a concern.

Id love to watch Darius Butler and see if he has improved. He has no.2 CB quality talent and it would be nice to see a CB2 and CB2B..i am pretty sure Munnerlyn is going to be in the slot unless both Hogan and Butler fail miserably.

Then it is CB panic!
