Beason did the right thing. Smith is trash. Correct me if I'm wrong but he's never completed more than58% of his passes, never had 20 tds in a season. Oh ya took him 6 years to throw 3000 yards. His rookie season he threw 1 td with 11 pics. Hea just upset because hes finally realizing his excuse of new coaches each year is over because he new regime there isnt leaving.

I've actually followed the Panthers from day one. I remember when they had their 1st camp in Rock Hill, about ten minutes from where i was living at the time. I want good things for them. I wish them much success on the field. That being said i pull for only one team. I have one favorite team, one. Even though i'm from this area i never turned my back on the Washington Redskins. But i know a ton of Panther history and i'm pretty spot on most of the time with my assessments. I'm close enough to the team to know whats going on but i still have an outsiders view that isn't team color blind.

Pro bowls validate a player being good? 3 rd string players for the bowl still get bowl status, yes urlacher is good, far above average, beason will be leaps and bounds beyond him when he's been in te league as long as him
