Look at Willis, Fletcher and Urlacher? Hmmm they don't lay the wood?

Sure. It just isn't high on the list of what you look for in a ILB in today's NFL.

Lukes instincts project off the charts. That kinda stuff matters much more. It is why he is where the football is....regardless of how an offense attacks.

If we drafted Luke to stay outside his career.....it is likely a wasted pick. Just like Newton would be a wasted pick if we took his legs away.

You play highly talented guys to their strengths.....that is how you build good teams.

And what if Beason outplays Kuechly?

The problem is Alex wasn't trying to be a dick even though his comments came off as such. Beason just deliberately took a shot at him.

SO!!! The point to me is we are not the NFL's punching bag no more. Beason is making that clear.

He likely should....at first. Also, is it about fitting the pieces to form the best overall LB corp.

Beason, Luke, Anderson simply could be better than Luke, Beason, Anderson. Luke's coverage ability could make him roaming the middle in today's NFL the best lineup once he gets some experience.

I hardly see arguing about Beason v. Kuechly before Kuechly even sees his first game, preseason and regular, much less his first season. It's not productive and is indicative of simplistic and irrational thinking at this point in the game (pun intended).
