IDK i just didn't feel like jumping ship just because a city 20 miles from my home acquired a new franchise. I feel i'm a true fan and will never turn my back to them no matter how bad. Only one thing will turn me off to them and the NFL as a whole.

Nothing wrong with his comments at all. Smith made some harsh remarks regarding Newton, and Beason was protecting our player. We got some good chemistry folks.

I've actually followed the Panthers from day one. I remember when they had their 1st camp in Rock Hill, about ten minutes from where i was living at the time. I want good things for them. I wish them much success on the field. That being said i pull for only one team. I have one favorite team, one. Even though i'm from this area i never turned my back on the Washington Redskins. But i know a ton of Panther history and i'm pretty spot on most of the time with my assessments. I'm close enough to the team to know whats going on but i still have an outsiders view that isn't team color blind.

Beason is sticking up for his guy. I have no problem whatsoever with him calling out Alex Smith, after Smith's comments towards Cam and the Panthers.

Smith's comments were valid, but you never call out another team or QB in the media. Not to mention that it's a b**** move because the only time we would play the niners is in the playoffs.
