Rivera said he's looking to LaFell to relieve

pressure on Steve Smith. During Thursday's

OTA, LaFell dropped three of four during a

passing drill.

while Luke Kuechly lined up at WLB and

James Anderson at SLB. That’s the Week 1

unit coach Ron Rivera covets. Coming back

from a torn Achilles, Beason mostly

watched Thursday’s OTA from the sideline

as Kuechly worked at “Mike” and “Will.”

Beason should be ready for training camp,

Rivera said.

Silatolu and LT Jordan Gross lined up for

most of the snaps Cam Newton took during

Thursday’s OTA. Otah missed most of the

good,” Otah said.
