I'm really surprised these guys schedule events to be at during OTA's. It's just a few days that they know about months in advance. Odd

Cam had his thing scheduled way in advance, and worked around the practice schedule. Rivera moved everything up a day, not sure why.

Kuechly def could put on 15 more pounds next season. Dude looks thin.

hes a bit taller than most MLBs at 6-3. Most are 6 foot give or take 1-2 inches. ideal MLB weight is there in keuchly, its just spread all over a bit more. I'd say it's a good thing, we took him for his speed, instincts, athleticism and coverage ability. His run stopping ability is just gravy on top, but we didn't really pursue him as a ray lewis type of run stuffer.

He is still light for a LB and his muscles are def not as developed as some of our other LBs. We don't know what they are going to do with him but being stronger is something I'm sure you would want no matter what.

well for comparison keuchly is 6 ft 3 242

beason is 6 ft 237

pat willis is 6 ft 1 240

nav bowman is 6 ft 240

bart scott 6 2 242

vilma 6 1 230

i'd say he's at or above ideals unless u want him to go the urlacher/lewis route and be 255ish. bulking up the upper body might slow him down and lower body strength is much more important as a tackler.

i mean look at cam, he doesn't have a jacked upper body and you wonder how he can weigh so much. Then you take a look at his legs and see where he really packs on the muscle.
