For someone who wasn't relied on to win games, Alex Smith sure did a good job of it anyway considering 6 of their 14 wins came on 4th quarter game winning drives on their last posession. I don't care if they were won on field goals or what but he was in charge of getting them into that position and he did just that. Had he not, the 49ers very well would not have made the playoffs.

2nd half: 149/258 57.8% 1980yds 7td

You are completely wrong. In fact his second half stats were worse because our defense was getting gashed so bad their defense could set up purely against the pass.

We had the lead a lot in the fourth. Our D gave away the lead late in games! How was Cam padding stats in the fourth when it was statistically the quarter he passed the LEAST(the opposing offenses were eating up the clock, killing our worn down deffense) because he wasn't on the field as much.
