They also gave up 32 points, 18 in the fourth quarter.

Smith had 299 yards and 3 TDs and another one rushing (4 total) while his defense gave up over 450 yards to Breesus.

Smith built a 17-0 lead before his defense crumbled again and again.

Just because Smith wasn't asked to win games in the regular season doesn't mean he was incapable.

there is no denying the panthers offense often played well in the first half, then hit a brick wall in the second. Too many 3 and outs for our dismantled defense to try to overcome. Biggest problem with Cam, is he wears he negative emotions on his shoulder pads, and it is easy to spot. That has to be fixed since he is our leader.

Yeah I understand, people calling Smith trash are the one's butthurt about the comment when in reality I could bet my bottom dollar that Cam doesn't care or doesn't even know what was said.

In reality, they made it to the playoffs not us and at the end of the day wins and losses are what judges a team.

I believe Cam is the better quarterback, but we were not a better team.

Cam made plays and triples the win total from the prior season. So yes he is a winner and was THE insturmental building block of a team.

When Alex Smith was relied upon to make the same plays on a losing team he failed and is a laughing stock of a No.1 pick.

Your right but I think the point of a team not winning bc of Cam was not entirely accurate either. We lost games in spite of Cam's efforts.

i also dont think smith was slighting our guy, but with all the hype cam has been getting, maybe that was an easy example for him to pull from. we can agree there was no need for smith to call out any other team, but when it comes down to it, he was right. of course it is easier to speak that way when your team has a top defense
