Odd, his logic is Cam has such great numbers because the team was always down.

His rookie year with the 49ers they went 4-12, so one would have to assume they were down a lot, and by that logic he should also have lots of passing yards and touchdowns.

Let them talk, I want our guys to have an us against the world mentality & be pissed off. All these pundits, experts, & players are taking their shots at us now. Beason has been pissed & foaming at the mouth for months. Cam should have a whole safe full of mental bullets by week 1. Cam & Rivera are gonna own this league, & there's not a damn thing anybody can do.

i think he mentioned (misinformedly, granted) the panthers only in the context of answering a question. his point would have been valid had the panthers' offensive situation matched what he was trying to get it. he just picked a really bad example for obvious reasons.

it would be different if he came out and started bashing cam and the panthers unprovoked or unprompted.

I wish there was audio of it. Listening to a persons tone and pitch reveals a lot. He very well could have been just saying what he said without any malice, or he could very well have been taking a shot.
