Brian Dawkins On Nfl Live Mentioned His 5 Hardest People To Tackle

The list comprised of:

MJD, Adrian Peterson, Steven Jackson, Frank Gore, and Smitty. I think it's worth noting that Smith is the only non running back on the list. It's also worth noting that Trey Wingo said he is pound for pound the strongest player in the NFL, which is the first time I have heard a non-Panther fan say that. It's a slow week in the offseason and i figured this would be worth noting. I love the national attention Carolina has been getting.

Someone needs to tell dawkins to quit being such a homer. Smith is not even the best receiver on the panthers.

Only guys on the internet know who the best players are, what the hell would an nfl veteran know.

I don't think Smitty is really the "strongest" in terms of physical attributes. What I do think is that he is in great shape and plays mean. Not mad. Not dirty. Just mean as hell. Not at all a knock on him but rather, a compliment.

I remember a play against the giants when one of the backs had a long gain. Smith came up and basically snot bubbled Tuck. Not sure what the size and weight difference is but it really did not matter. Steve Smith is one bad agent.

    • Film Room Playlist _ NFL Pro — Mozilla Firefox 2024-11-25 10-20-11.mp4 🎯🎯🎯 There were a couple of "fans" yesterday saying that this wasn't a helmet-to-helmet shot... 👀 Looks like based on where Moore was and where the play ended, he'd have gotten maybe just a yard or two more. Chuba was downed at the KC 16 and Moore was on his way back to the QB, so the offense got what they could for the most part. After reviewing the all-22, Bryce made the right call here. Tremble was the hot and KC sent both LBs. He gets it out with a clear pocket but it's quickly collapsing. If there was a little more time it looked like AT came free at the end but whether or not Bryce would've been upright still is another story. Smart move to get the completion and keep the field goal in play to stay alive. George Karlaftis is about to get himself a big ole hug and Bryce heaves it to where David Moore is going. Trent McDuffie slipped just a step or two before this shot, but we can see the clear DPI here as he's wrapped around David Moore before knocking him over as the ball gets there.
    • I’m taking a TE early day 3 Ian Thomas and Tremble are FA.  We should have no desire to bring them back.   There’s more than enough film of ball bouncing off their hands or facemask.
    • Daniel Jones sometimes would sling it for 300 or 400 yards.  That's my stance.  We know what Bryce is.  If you consistently play any QB at this level, they largely are going to end up w/ some good days/games.  last time Mahomes was at BOA, Teddy Bridgwater threw for 300+ yards and a couple TDs and the Matt Rhule Panthers almost took him down.  We know what Bryce is.  Now we got people predictably falling into a predictable trap.
