There is such a thing as a city being too big.

I liked Portland and Seattle...if it wasn't 65 and overcast every single day.

i like seattle a lot... Portland would be ok if I didn't need to do anything but brew beer, smoke dope and wander around the woods...

I miss Charlotte so much. Best place ever. And I lived in a lot of big cities before. L.A., Baltimore, Albuquerque, Phoenix, Nashville, Alexandria, Miami, OKC. Charlotte is simply the best.

How would you compare living in LA to living in Charlotte?

L.A. is obviously bigger. More busy. Noisy. The Smog is Overrated to be honest. I didn't have a Car in L.A., didn't need it with their transportation, which was a plus, but the cost of living was horrible man. I was making ends meat there. You needed to hustle every day to get by. At least I did.

Charlotte was more laid back, The kind of place you take a break from your schedule to smell the flowers type of deal. Really cool. It's a growing city so transportation isn't that great. Cost of living is moderate. I was making more cash in Charlotte than L.A. But the thing is, in LA I had the beaches close by man.

I used to live in SoCal too. Santa Ana. Have to say I miss the place too, but Charlotte was just better in my eyes. More boom as far as business, tranquil too, the kind of place you want to start a family I would say. But if you're single there's a lot of places in the uptown and surrounding areas you can mingle with the folks.
